KEITH HARING - The Diary Issue

Last month we shared New Yorks most famous street artist Keith Haring’s expo with you on the party island Ibiza. The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam has spent the last few years restoring the painted canopy the graffiti artist once made for the opening of his solo exhibition at the museum in 1986. Designed on a thin canvas allowing light to shine through, the canopy was made to cover the enormous glass sunroof directly above the grand staircase and it’s finally up and on display. The impressive painting adorns Harings famous street art with thick black lines and bold colours.
